Military spending will be down stepped-down

The amount of funding allowed to be spent on the Military will be stepped down over the next ten years until it is less than 15% of the overall US Budget. This does not include the amount needed to cover the Veterans Administration.

Points

the US spends 40%+ of it's budget on the military, weapons and war preparedness. This is at the expense of caring for the needs of the people and with a high cost of injury, death, and environmental destruction. It's time to stop funding war and use that money for education, housing and healthcare.
