Appointment of Judges within the term of the opening

Judges to the Supreme Court will be confirmed during the term in which the opening occurred. They will be appointed by the President and confirmed by Congress regardless of how close they are to an election and/or a change in Administration. A Lame-duck President shall still fill a seat on the bench.

Points

Americans deserve continuity and consistency in our Judicial System. To delay a vote on the appointment based on who controls the White House is unfair and unethical. Consideration will be taken from the American Bar Association as to the candidate's suitability and will be voted on before any pending change in Administration.
